PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu, under the provisions of Section 6-1517 of the Charter of the City and County of Honolulu, for the following request for a variance of the Land Use Ordinance at the date and time specified or as soon thereafter as those interested may be heard:

APPLICATION: ZONING VARIANCE

Tax Map Keys : 8-7-7: 8, 13 and 62, (collectively “Lot 3”)
Lot Area : 4.708 acres
Zoning : AG-2 General Agricultural District
Request : A variance to allow the subdivision of a 4.708-acre lot (Lot 3) in the AG-2 General Agricultural District into two conforming lots containing 2.0 acres of land area, and one lot containing 0.708 acres of land area, which lacks the minimum 2.0-acre land area; or to allow three farm dwellings on Lot 3, which exceeds the maximum permitted number of farm dwellings on the 4.708-acre zoning lot.

Maps of the area under consideration are on file at the Department of Planning and Permitting, Data Access & Imaging Branch, First Floor, Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building, 650 South King Street, and are available to the public for inspection during office hours,
7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony in writing.

Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813) to the department prior to the hearing and will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
