NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes §§ 440G-10.1 and 440G-7 and Chapter 91, and Hawaii Administrative Rules § 16-133-14, the Director of the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (“DCCA”) will hold public hearings in each Oceanic Time Warner Cable LLC’s (“OTWC”) Hawaii franchise area on the Federal Communications Commission Form 394 submitted on April 11, 2014, and the State of Hawaii Application for Transfer of Cable Television Franchise filed on May 23, 2014 (collectively, the “Transfer Application”), submitted by Time Warner Cable (“TWC”), the parent of OTWC, and Comcast Corporation (“Comcast”) for the transfer of control of OTWC’s Hawaii cable franchises, at the parent level, from TWC to Comcast.

The purpose of the public hearings is to afford those residing in each of OTWC’s Hawaii franchise areas the opportunity to submit written or oral data, views, and/or arguments on the Transfer Application. All interested persons are encouraged to review the Transfer Application and supplement documents at the locations listed below prior to the public hearings and to attend the public hearings. A copy of the Transfer Application is available for review during normal business hours at the following locations:

All interested persons shall be afforded the opportunity to submit their oral or written comments at the time of the public hearings. Whether testimony is presented orally or not, interested persons are encouraged to put their comments in writing and submit them to DCCA-CATV via the following:

In order to satisfy mandated procedural deadlines, all written comments must be filed with DCCA-CATV by Friday, July 25, 2014, 4:30 p.m.
