NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Planning and Permitting of the City and County of Honolulu under Chapter 21, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, as amended, for the following application at the date and the time specified or soon thereafter:

APPLICATION: SPECIAL DISTRICT PERMIT – MAJOR (SDD)

LOCATION: 2100 Kalakaua Avenue, and 2121 and 2139 Kuhio Avenue – Waikiki
REQUEST: Special District Permit – Major

PROPOSAL: The construction of a new 37-story, 350-foot high condo-hotel consisting of 361 units, a hotel lobby and support services, three parking levels, commercial uses (such as restaurant and sundry
store), and appurtenant site improvements.

Maps showing the general location and boundaries of the area under consideration are on file at the Department of Planning and Permitting, Permit and Zoning Records Access, First Floor, Frank F. Fasi Municipal Building, 650 South King Street, and are available to the public for inspection during office hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For assistance, please call the department’s Urban Design Branch at 768-8034.

All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony in writing.

Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit testimony. Written testimony which is received by the Department of Planning and Permitting at the above address prior to the public hearing will be considered in the evaluation of the request.
