The Hawai’i Tourism Authority, an agency of the State of Hawai’i, (“HTA”) is requesting written fixed price proposals from qualified applicants to provide pre-visit destination marketing representation services and activities that drive incremental visitation and revenue for the State of Hawai’i. Applicants are invited to submit proposals in accordance with a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for the Japan Major Market Area (“MMA”).
The HTA will select the offers determined to be the most advantageous to the HTA, taking into consideration multiple factors, including applicant qualifications, the merits of the proposed services, price, and the evaluation criteria set forth in the RFP. The selected applicant will be awarded a contract ending December 31, 2013, with an optional renewal for a three (3)- year agreement for the period January 1, 2014 through December 31, 2016.
The written Proposals in response to the RFP shall be received by the HTA no later than June 1, 2011 at 4:30 p.m., HAST (Hawai’i-Aleutian Standard Time) and in the manner described in the RFP. Proposals received after the deadline or submitted by facsimile, email, or electronic transmission shall be rejected. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
The RFP will be available beginning April 5, 2011 at the HTA office located at the Hawai’i Convention Center, First Level, 1801 Kal?kaua Avenue, Honolulu, Hawai’i 96815, during normal business hours, or through the internet at www.hawaiitourismauthority.org.
