Revisor Technician
Office of Council Services

The Revisor Technician assists the Revisor in processing and preparing ordinances for publication. The technician guides and participates in proofreading all ordinances; updates ordinance sections and maintains master files. The technician updates office records and databases to reflect enacted ordinances and adopted resolutions; transmits documents and directions for document publication; updates the city webpage; and performs other duties as required. Desired qualifications: A minimum of three years of general office work experience, proficient in word processing, proofreading and grammar usage. Excellent writing and problem solving skills. Documented experience in preparing documents for public dissemination. Familiarity with excel and web publishing. Knowledgeable about government processes and legislative drafting practices. An education equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university is preferred. This is as an exempt position. Salary to commensurate with experience.
