Chief of the Immunization Branch; administers & manages Branch operations; performs an extensive array of administrative, planning, technical & supervisory duties; must possess & maintain expert-level knowledge of immunizations, vaccine preventable disease (VPD) surveillance & interventions in Hawaii, and have technical expertise to interpret & analyze epidemiological data & fulfill duties independently w/ overall technical guidance & medical direction from the Division Chief. Bachelor’s degree. 3-1/2 yrs. professional social work, public health, or related exp. which provided knowledge of public health laws, rules, regulations, programs & services, and community health organizations & services, incl. 1 yr. of work involving surveillance, investigation, assessment, and/or study of VPD.
