The City and County of Honolulu (City) is seeking professional services in the field of engineering for a General Engineering Consultant (GEC) to provide services related to elevated guideway engineering, rail station design, construction management oversight, scheduling, project financing and environmental planning for the Honolulu High-Capacity Transit Corridor Project. The successful firm must be licensed to do business in the State of Hawaii. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA) third-party contracting requirements will apply to this contract.

The GEC contract will be supervised and overseen by the City Department of Transportation Services’ Rapid Transit Division (RTD). The City anticipates that key GEC staff members will be assigned full-time and located in Honolulu.
