Traffic Schedule No. 2009-8
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2009-8 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Nola St., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:

“Kamilo St., for its entire length.”

“Nani Ihi St., for its entire length.”

c. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following item:

“Lanikuhana Ave. No left turn from the northern driveway of the Mililani Town Center into Lanikuhana Ave., 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday except State holidays.”

d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By amending thereto the following item:

Moaniani St., eastern side, distance 546’ northerly direction from a point 12’ south of the southern curb prolongation of Pokeo St.; to read:

“Moaniani St., eastern side, from a point 12’ south of the southern curb prolongation of Pokeo St. to the southern curb prolongation of Ka Uka Blvd.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Hart St., mauka side, from Waiakamilo Rd. to Libby St. at Pole No. 11.”

“Moaniani St., eastern side, distance 645’ southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Ka Uka Blvd.”

e. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones subsection (b) freight loading zones by amending thereto the following item:

Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53’ mauka direction from a point 191’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Boulevard, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday except Sundays and State holidays; to read:

“Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 53’ mauka direction from a point 191’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday; 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday except Sundays and State holidays.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
