NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Sections 91-3 and 92-41, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Land Use Commission (LUC), Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism (DBEDT), State of Hawaii, will hold a public hearing on August 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. to consider proposed amendments to Chapter 15-15, “Hawai`i Administrative Rules, Land Use Commission.”

These amendments are intended to clarify existing procedural rules and to conform to requirements imposed by Act 26 and Act 124, Session Laws of Hawai`i, 2008.

A public hearing will be held on August 17, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the

All interested persons are invited to attend the hearing and state their views relative to the proposed rule amendments either orally or in writing. Should written testimony be presented, five copies shall be made available to the presiding officer at the public hearing or within seven days before the hearing to:

Copies of the proposed rules are available for review at the Land Use Commission office located at 235 S. Beretania St., Room 406, during regular business days and hours between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Copies are also available on the LUC web site at luc@dbedt.hawaii.gov. Copies of the proposed rules may also be mailed to any interested person upon advance payment of the following copying and postage cost:
