TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2009-5 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Williams St., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:

1. By amending thereto the following item:

Kaukama Rd., from Farrington Hwy to Kulakoa St.; to read:

“Kaukama Rd, from Farrington Hwy. to Uala St.

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Williams St., for its entire length.”

c. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Green St., mauka side, distance 60’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Ward Ave.”

“Haloa Dr., Ewa side, distance 133’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Molehu Dr.”

“Haloa Dr., Koko Head side, distance 127’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Molehu Dr.”

“Kalanipuu St., mauka side, distance 41’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Lunalilo Home Rd. (makai intersection).”

“Ruth Pl., mauka side, distance 45’ Ewa direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Peter St.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Burbank St., Koko Head side, distance 90’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Coelho Wy.; to read:

“Burbank St., Koko Head side, distance 115’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Coelho Wy.”

Campbell Ave., makai side, from Herbert St. to a point approximately 70’ in the Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Brokaw St.; to read:

“Campbell Ave., makai side, from Herbert St. to Brokaw St. except for portion covered under Schedule 25.”

Green St., makai side, distance 29’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Victoria St.; to read:

“Green St., makai side, distance 80’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Victoria St.”

Likini St., makai side, distance 105’ Ewa direction from Koko Head property line 5122 Likini St.; to read:

“Likini St., makai side, distance 215’ Ewa direction from a point 155’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Ala Nanala St.”

d. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by adding thereto subsection (b) freight loading zones the following item:

“Gulick Ave., Koko Head side, distance 40’ mauka direction from a point 19’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kealoha St., 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday to Saturday except Sundays.”

e. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:

Likini St., makai side, distance 80’ Koko Head direction from a point 130’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Ala Lilikoi St.; to read:

“Likini St., makai side, distance 215’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Ala Lilikoi St.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
