REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The State Auditor, State of Hawaii, is requesting the services of certified public accountants to conduct a financial audit of the Department of Budget and Finance, State of Hawaii, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2009. The engagement is to be performed in accordance with attestation standards promulgated by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and generally accepted government auditing standards. Specifications and Instructions for Submissions of Proposals (RFP No. 09-01) for the engagement may be obtained at the Office of the Auditor, 465 South King Street, Room 500, Honolulu, Hawaii, or by calling (808) 587-0800, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on normal business days. The deadline for submission of proposals to conduct the financial audit is 12:00 noon, June 10, 2009.

This Request for Proposals may be canceled and any and all proposals may be rejected in whole or in part when it is in the best interest of the State.
