PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

NOTICE IS HERBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Department of Customer Services of the City and County of Honolulu. The purpose of this public hearing establishes an alternate means to display the fuel surcharge that a taxicab driver or taxicab company may charge to taxicab passengers.

DATE: April 6, 2009

TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

Anyone may request a copy of the proposed rule at no cost. To receive a copy, call the Taxicab Section at 733-2540 or pick one up at the following address between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday: 1112 Kapahulu Avenue, Honolulu, HI 96816.

Any disabled persons requiring special assistance should contact the Taxicab Section at 733-2540 at least two days before the public hearing date.
