NOTICE OF SOLICITATION OF PROPOSALS
FOR HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

The Vocational Rehabilitation and Services for the Blind Division of the Department of Human Services is requesting proposals for the following services:

1. Work Activity Services for Molokai

2. Evaluation, Training, and Placement Services for Hamakua-Honokaa

3. Job Placement and Retention Services for Kona, Hilo, Kauai, Maui, Honolulu, Molokai

4. Job Placement and Retention Services for the Deaf for Honolulu

5. Supported Employment Services for Kona, Hilo, Kauai, Maui, Honolulu

The orientation for these RFPs will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. via the Information and Communication Services Division (ICSD) Video Conference Centers, Kona Community Hospital and Department of Education. Interested individuals are invited to attend at any of the following sites:

6. Independent Living Services, Statewide

The orientation for this RFP will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the video conference sites noted above.

7. Independent Living Services for Persons Who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind, Oahu

8. Interpreter Referral Services for the Deaf, Statewide

Orientations for those interested in these RFPs will be held on Monday, November 3, 2008, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Kakuhihewa State Building, 5th Floor, Conference Room 577B. The Interpreter Referral Services orientation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Independent Living Services for Persons Who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and Deaf-Blind orientation will follow from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
