NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a contested case hearing to be conducted by Hearing Officer Sherry Broder, Esq. for the Planning Commission of the County of Hawaii in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 6-4.3 of the Charter of the County of Hawaii, and the Planning Commission’s Rules of Practice and Procedure for the following application.

Special Management Area Use Permit to allow the development of 691 residential units, 516 hotel units (consisting of 184 hotel room suites containing a total of 266 keys with an adjacent enclave of 100 self-contained family bungalows containing a total of 250 keys), 3 golf holes and related support facilities within the Mauna Lani Resort. The property involved is located makai of the Queen Kaahumanu Highway, within the existing Mauna Lani Resort, Kalahuipuaa, Anaehoomalu and Waikoloa, South Kohala, Hawaii, TMK: 6-8-1: 54
and 6-8-22: 10.
