$2,633 per month (BC-02)
Perform a variety of essential cleaning and sanitation
duties; perform simple food preparation; and provide
coverage of higher level positions as needed.
No Training I Experience Required
Applicants must have knowledge in the preparation of
raw & processed food to be cooked; methods,
materials, & equipment used in cleaning kitchen
equipment, appliances & utensils; kitchen safety &
sanitation requirements; personal hygiene; must also
have the ability to learn quantity cookery; operate
kitchen equipment & appliances; measure food
servings & serve food; give & receive oral & written
instructions; work cooperatively with others; oversee
the work of patients or inmates; tolerate kitchen heat &
noises; perform heavy lifting, moving & carrying typical
of the class.
