NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR FAILURE TO PAY REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE THEREON
DATE OF SALE – OCTOBER 18, 2007
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that each parcel of real property described below, all in the County of Hawaii, Third Taxation District, State of Hawaii, is subject to liens for real property taxes. Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 19, Article 5, Sections 19-37 through 19-45, Hawaii County Code and subject to the provisions of Sections 246-55 through 246-63, Hawaii Revised Statutes as amended, each parcel will be sold by me to the highest bidder for cash or draft drawn on a financial institution (cashier\u2019s check, travelers check, money order, and/or certified check) at a public auction to be held in the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium, 323 Manono Street, Hilo, Hawaii on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 9:00 A.M. The entire amount bid is to be paid in full at the time of sale.
With respect to each parcel of property, WARNING IS HEREBY GIVEN to the persons assessed and to all persons having or claiming to have any mortgage or other lien thereon or any legal or equitable right, title, or other interest therein, that unless the taxes due thereon, with all interest, penalties, costs, expenses, and charges accrued to the date of payment are paid before the time of sale appointed above, the property will be sold as advertised. ALL OF THE PROPERTIES ARE OFFERED \u201DAS IS\u201D AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES AS TO TITLE OR PHYSICAL CONDITION.
The taxpayer may redeem the property sold by payment to the purchaser at the sale, within one (1) year from the date of the sale, of the amount paid by the purchaser, together with all costs and expenses which the purchaser was required to pay, including the fee for recording the deed, and in addition thereto, interest on such amount at the rate of twelve percent (12%) a year.
