NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF
IMPOUNDED VESSEL BY PUBLIC AUCTION
Notice is hereby given that a 27 fiberglass vessel named FULL MOON, Hawaii Registration no. HA 7791 D, has been impounded by the DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES, DIVISION OF BOATING AND OCEAN RECREATION, 333 Queen Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. Scheduled time of disposition by public auction will be 10:00 am on September 28, 2007 at the Keehi Small Boat Harbor Conference Room, 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819. This vessel will be disposed of by public auction pursuant to Chapter 200, Hawaii Revised Statutes.
Any person entitled to this listed item may repossess and remove same, prior to September 28, 2007 upon payment of all towing, mooring fees, impound, advertising and any other expense incurred in connection with this item.
An owner of personal property on or within the impounded vessel may claim their personal property by making a written request to the Administrator of the Division of Boating & Ocean Recreation that includes satisfactory proof of ownership. Any personal property valued at less than $1,000.00 on or within this impounded vessel not claimed by September 28, 2007 shall be disposed of as junk.
An auction catalog, with pertinent information and auction procedure instructions may be obtained in person during the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, 333 Queen Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. Auction catalogs and auction procedures may also be obtained at the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor, Haleiwa Small Boat Harbor, Heeia Kea Small Boat Harbor, Keehi Small Boat Harbor and the Waianae Small Boat Harbor.
A copy of the auction catalog and auction procedures shall be available for inspection at the Hawaii District Boating Office at Honokohau Small Boat Harbor, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; Maui District Boating Office, Wailuku, Maui; and the Kauai District Boating Office, Lihue, Kauai.
The listed item contained in the auction catalog is sold as is, where is. There are no guarantees or warranties. The sale of the vessel does not include a berth, mooring, storage area or trailer. Buyers must make separate arrangements for berth. Interested parties are informed of the requirement, under provision for the purchaser to remove the vessel from its present location within the prescribed time after the issuance of the Bill of Sale. The prescribed time for removal after the auction shall be included in the auction catalog. No vessel shall be sold for less than its minimum bid upset price as noted in the auction catalog.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources reserves the right to remove any item from the auction. The stated item is under the custody of the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Trespassing is prohibited.
