PUBLIC NOTICE ON PROPOSED ACTION WITHIN
DESIGNATED FLOOD HAZARD ZONE PURSUANT TO
EXECUTIVE ORDER 11988 FLOODPLAIN MANAGEMENT

Notice is hereby given that the US Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu District, on behalf of the U.S. Army Garrison Hawaii, Schofield Barracks, is seeking public input regarding the location of the following proposed project:

PROJECT Install 3 modular buildings near Bldg 1507
LOCATION Fort Shafter Military Reservation
TAX MAP KEY 1-1-8: 1
DESCRIPTION Install 3 modular administrative buildings. Buildings will be used as support facilities for Bldg 1507.
FLOOD ZONES Zones X (shaded) & AE (flooding from 8 to 10 feet).
FUNDING Operations & Maintenance Army (OMA) Funds
