LEGAL CLERK III

Office of the Prosecuting Attorney in Kealakekua

Starting salary:
$2,498.00 – $3,847.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of legal clerical work experience involving the preparation, typing, and processing of a variety of legal forms and documents which required substantive knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, practices, forms, and documents. A current typing proficiency certificate with a minimum typing rate of 40 net words per minute and, as applicable to the position, a current proficiency certificate for shorthand with a minimum dictation rate of 80 net words per minute (Legal – 5 minute test) must be presented at the time of filing. The immediate vacancy does not require shorthand.

VICTIM/WITNESS COUNSELOR I

Starting salary:
$3,246.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in social work, sociology, counseling, psychology or a related field and one year of professional counseling experience in a program which provided social services, including work related to the criminal justice system and crisis counseling and a valid driver’s license.
