REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP NO. OHA 07 – 06

Pursuant to Chapter 103D, HRS, the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (“OHA”) is seeking proposals for a Strategic Lending Partner to address Native Hawaiian access to credit and capital by providing investment management, loan servicing and debt collection services for the FUND.

Proposals shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions prepared by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs. OHA will not pay for proposals submitted or received. The RFP may be obtained at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, (Pacific Park Plaza Building), 711 Kapiolani Blvd., Suite 500, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813 during the business hours of 7:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., except holidays, or you may download the copy from the website: www.spo.hawaii.gov.

If you choose to obtain the copy from the website, you will need to register your firm by fax or e-mail, otherwise, you will not receive addenda, if any, and your offer may be rejected and not considered for award.

OHA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. Further, OHA reserves the right to review the financial condition of those submitting proposals and may request a financial statement.

An original and three copies of the proposal package are required and must be submitted in writing to be postmarked by the U. S. Postal Service no later than midnight on May 4, 2007 or hand delivered to OHA by 4:00 p.m. (HST) on May 4, 2007.
