NOTICE TO MOVING COMPANIES

Qualifications of moving companies will be accepted up to 4:00 p.m., November 27, 2006 in the office of the Division of Purchasing, Department of Budget and Fiscal Services, City and County of Honolulu, to PROVIDE MOVING COST ESTIMATES AND MOVING SERVICES for the City’s relocation program. Firms must be willing to perform on-site moving cost estimates when requested. Clients to be moved are persons displaced by project of the City and County of Honolulu and entitled to relocation benefits pursuant to the Hawaii Revised Statutes, §111, or the Uniform Real Property Acquisition and Relocation Assistance Act. The City in no way guarantees that contracts for moving services will be awarded to respondents to this notice.
Moving firms may file qualifications with the Director of the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services at the Division of Purchasing by submitting their name, address, telephone number, name of contact person, PUC moving license number, Federal and State tax clearance certificates, and description of the moving services provided by the firm to the Purchasing Division, Department of Budget and Fiscal Services, Room 115, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, Attention: Relocation Section.
