Traffic Schedule No. 2006-9
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2006-9 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT OF WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXI OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(8) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–SPECIFIED TIMES; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:
Parish Dr., for its entire length.
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Aloha Oe Dr., for its entire length.
Analipo St., for its entire length.
Aukai Ave., for its entire length.
Kulawai St., for its entire length.
Kuuala St., between Kuukama and Kuupua Sts.
2. By deleting therefrom the following item:
Keama Pl., for its entire length.
c. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11-2(c) establishing yield right of way by adding thereto the following item:
Date St-Kapiolani Blvd. Traffic turning right in the mauka direction from the right channelized lane on Date St. shall yield the right-of-way on Kapiolani Blvd.
d. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersection by adding thereto the following item:
Kapolei Parkway-Renton Rd. Traffic on Kapolei Parkway shall stop before entering Renton Rd.
e. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
S. King St., makai side, distance 125 Koko Head direction from a point 70 Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Archer Ln.
2. By deleting therefrom the following items:
King St., makai side, distance 303 Koko Head direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Archer Ln.
King St., makai side, distance 77 Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Archer Ln.
f. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones–specified times by amending thereto the following item:
King St., makai side, between South St. and Ward Ave., 3:30-6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays; to read:
S. King St. makai side, between South St. and Ward Ave., 3:30-6:30 p.m., Monday to Friday except State holidays and portions specified under Schedule 20.
g. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
East Manoa Rd., Ewa side, distance 180 mauka direction from a point 100 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kolomona Pl.
Hookanike St., mauka side, distance 77 Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Hoomalu St.
Kekaulike St., Ewa side, distance 110 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of N. Nimitz Hwy.
Lokowai Pl., makai side, distance 37 Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kanuku St.
Uao Pl., within its turnaround area.
Uao Pl., makai (southern) side, distance 55 Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Kaonohi St.
Waipahu St., within its turnaround area.
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Huli St., Koko Head side, entire length; to read:
Huli St., both sides, for its entire length.
Huna St., Ewa side, entire length; to read:
Huna St., both sides, for its entire length.
Kipapa Dr., west side, distance 840 southwest direction from a point 330 south of north property line of Mililani Waena Elementary School at 95-502 Kipapa Dr., 7:30-9:00 a.m. and 1:00-2:30 p.m., school days only; to read:
Kipapa Dr., western side, distance 840 southwesterly direction from a point 330 south of the northern property line of Mililani Waena Elementary School at 95-502 Kipapa Dr., 7:00-8:00 a.m. and 12:30-2:30 p.m., school days only.
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
East Manoa Rd., Ewa side, between driveway 3354 East Manoa Rd. and private roadway on makai side, of 3340 East Manoa Rd.
Huli St., Ewa side, distance 85 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kuakini St.
Huli St., mauka side, distance 37 Koko Head direction from a point 23 Koko Head of the Ewa property line of 1734 Huli St.
Huna St., Koko Head side, distance 20 mauka direction from the makai property line of 1739 Huna St.
Huna St., Koko Head side, distance 35 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kuakini St.
King St., makai side, distance 60 Koko Head direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Archer Ln.
King St., makai side, distance 125 Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Archer Ln.
h. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following item:
Hui Iwa St., Kaneohe (southern) side, distance 125 makai (easterly) direction from the makai (eastern) curb prolongation of the mauka intersection of Hui Kelo St.
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Prospect St., makai side, distance 150 Koko Head direction from a point 302 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Maunaihi Pl.; to read:
Prospect St., makai side, distance 86 Koko Head direction from a point 340 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Maunahi Pl.
3. By deleting therefrom the following item:
Kamehameha Hwy., makai side, distance 150 Makapuu direction from a point 286 Makapuu of the Makapuu curb prolongation of Lilipuna Rd.
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
