SOLICITATION FOR NON-GOVERNMENTAL
MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE FOR
ACCESSIBLE TRANSPORTATION

The Department of Transportation Services, City and County of Honolulu (DTS), is soliciting volunteers interested in filling one (1) vacant position on the Committee for Accessible Transportation (CAT).

The CAT provides counsel and advice to the DTS Director on recommended actions, informational materials and affirmative legislation relating to public transportation services for the elderly and persons with disabilities, and collectively prepares for the DTS a regular, semi-annual evaluation of the public transportation services.

The position, when filled, will provide at-large representation of the interests of the elderly and persons with disabilities. The member will be appointed by and serve a term coterminous with the current DTS Director. The member serves without pay. Meetings are held during the work week, at least four times a year.

Eligibility for this appointment is limited to registered voters of the City and County of Honolulu. Interested parties must submit a written statement of their qualifications to:
