NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids for EQUIPMENT BID NO. 2006-09, SALE OF USED DRILL RIG AND APPURTENANCES FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY, County of Hawai’i, State of Hawai’i, will be received by the Department of Water Supply, County of Hawai’i, at:

1) 345 Kekuanao’a Street, Suite 20, Hilo, Hawai’i, or

2) Hawai’i County Services, Room 103, 75-5706 Kuakini Highway, Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i

until Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., when they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for opening or delivered elsewhere other than specified herein will not be considered.

Interested bidders should obtain a copy of the specifications and forms from the Office of the Manager, 345 Kekuanao’a Street, Suite 20, Hilo, Hawai’i. The Department of Water Supply will, at the request of the bidder, forward by mail any specifications and forms upon receipt of the required postage fee. The bidder shall contact the Department for the postage fee amount. The Department will not assume responsibility for the timely delivery and receipt of the bidding documents by the prospective bidder(s).
