Responsible for all funds, expenditures and financial commitments incurred in conformance with the State Comptroller’s rules and regulations. Prepare reports to USDA. Major duties include: review and analyze financial data of departmental reports; prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports; and project Program requirements for cash withdrawal Federal Reserve Banks. Provide technical assistance in procedures and policies governing fiscal functions. Education requirements: Degree from accredited four (4) year college with at least 12 semester credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. At least 1-1/2 years of progressively responsible professional accounting or auditing experience. Full-time, temporary position thru 9/30/07.
