Starting salary: $2,147.00 – $3,306.00 per month/
$12.39 – $19.07 per hour

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of experience in organizing, conducting, and/or instructing recreational or group activities.

Starting salary: $3,136.00 – $4,469.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in social work, sociology, psychology, public administration, or a related field and at least one and a half years of investigational or law enforcement experience and a valid driver’s license. Must be qualified to carry and/or possess firearm or ammunition in accordance with state and federal laws, e.g., no misdemeanor or felony domestic violence conviction.

LEGAL ASSISTANT II

Starting salary: $3,136.00 – $4,469.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in business administration, public administration or a related field and three years of work experience in a law office involving interviewing, legal research, evaluation, and analysis of legal issues, preparation of legal reports, documents, and correspondence and a valid driver’s license.

MOTOR VEHICLE CONTROL INSPECTOR I
Permanent Vacancy – Hawai`i Police Department in Kona

Starting salary: $2,826.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of experience in inspectional or investigative work involving the enforcement of laws, rules, and regulations, or in the repair, maintenance or mechanical inspection of motor vehicles, or in instructing, advising on or coordinating motor vehicle maintenance or accident prevention and a valid driver’s license.

Starting salary: $4,131.00 – $5,880.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in mechanical engineering and one year of registered professional mechanical engineering experience, possession of a certificate of registration as a professional mechanical engineer in the State of Hawai`i, and a valid driver’s license.
