NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
MAUI PLANNING COMMISSION
The Maui Planning Commission for the County of Maui hereby gives notice that it will conduct a hearing on July 25, 2006 commencing at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as is practicable in the Planning Department Conference Room, 1st Floor, Kalana Pakui Building, 250 S. High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793 on the following:
SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREA USE PERMIT
1. MR. CLYDE MURASHIGE, Vice-President of A&B WAILEA, LLC requesting a Special Management Area Use Permit for the Wailea 12-Lot Subdivision (MF-11) consisting of a proposed 12-lot single-family residential subdivision and related site improvements on approximately 7.39 acres on land located north of Wailea Ike Drive, near its intersection with Piilani Highway at TMK: 2-1-008: 144 (portion), Wailea, Island of Maui. 2. MR. CLYDE MURASHIGE, Vice-President of A&B WAILEA, LLC requesting a Special Management Area Use Permit for the Wailea 9-Lot Subdivision (MF-19) consisting of nine (9) improved single-family residential lots and related site improvements on approximately 6.831 acres of land located east of Kalai Waa Street near the intersection of Kaukahi Drive, next to Diamond Resort at TMK: 2-1-008: 128 (portion), Wailea, Island of Maui. (SM1 2005/0028)
The subject public hearings will be conducted in accordance with the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Maui County Code and the Rules of the Maui Planning Commission. Information pertaining to the subject applications may be obtained from the Maui County Planning Department, 250 S. High Street, Wailuku, Maui.
Petitions to intervene shall be in conformity with Section 12-201-20 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Maui Planning Commission and shall be filed with the commission and served upon the applicant no less than ten (10) days before the first public hearing date. Filing of all documents to the commission is c/o the Maui Planning Department, 250 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793. The deadline for the filing of a timely Petition to Intervene is July 11, 2006 at 4:30 p.m.
All testimony regarding the subject applications may be filed prior to the date of the hearing by providing 15 copies of said written testimony to the Department of Planning or may be presented at the time of the hearing.
