EOC Warning Officer
Serves as a member of the State Emergency Operating Center warning section, Honolulu, Hawaii. Duties entail the coordination and dissemination of information, bulletins, and advisories to government organizations and to the general public concerning natural and man-made hazards.
Applicants must have 2 years of college or an Associate Degree and 2 years of work experience in emergency management, public safety, or crisis communications. Must be willing to work in a shift work capacity, possess a valid State of Hawaii drivers license, and be a citizen of the United States. Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Salary: $2,938/month. Deadline to apply: May 31, 2006.
