The following Ordinances passed Final Reading at the meeting held by the Council of the City and County of Honolulu on April 12, 2006 and were subsequently approved by the Mayor:

Ordinance 06-16 – [Bill 13 (2006), CD1] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to the waiver of building permit fees.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Tam. – 8.
NOES: Councilmember Okino. – 1.
Approved/Effective: April 28, 2006

Ordinance 06-17 – [Bill 17 (2006)] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to a motor vehicle weight tax for buses used as temporary shelters for the homeless.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved/Effective: April 28, 2006

Ordinance 06-18 – [Bill 19 (2006), CD1, FD1] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to the executive operating budget and program for the fiscal year July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006. Executive Operating Budget Ordinance Amendment No. 2.

Ordinance 06-19 – [Bill 26 (2006)] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to the county tax credit.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved/Effective: April 28, 2006, and shall apply to the tax year beginning July 1, 2007 and the tax years thereafter.
