The Hawaii Department of Health, Tobacco Settlement Project, is seeking applicants for a Non-Civil Service Position (Exempt) to begin work preferably on June 19, 2006.

Science and Research Group Officer
Salary commensurate with experience

The position is responsible for developing and implementing policies governing research, surveillance, data collection and usage to support a data warehouse project in the Department of Health. The position addresses staff competency and data governance to advance data utilization and sharing. Must have education and experience in public health or healthcare terminology and information systems and governance, and maintaining Oracle or other large scale RDBMS.
