The State Recruiting Office is recruiting for applicants for two planner positions in the Land Use Division and Hawaii Costal Zone Management Program of the State Office of Planning (OP). OP is responsible for preparing the States position on land use matters before the State Land Use Commission under Chapter 205, HRS. The Office is also responsible for the administration of the Hawaii Coastal Zone Management Program under Chapter 205A, HRS.
The OP conducts comprehensive planning and program coordination; strategic planning; land use planning and regulation; coastal and ocean policy management; and administers the statewide geographic information system program.
