Traffic Schedule No. 2006-3
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2006-3 TO AMEND SCHEDULE III OF SECTION 15-6.3 ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED RIGHT/LEFT TURNS ON RED; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/ UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule III of 15-6.3 establishing prohibited right/left turns on red by deleting therefrom the following item:
Keeaumoku-Kinau. No right or left turns at the intersection of Keeaumoku and Kinau Sts.
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:
Hapaki St., for its entire length.
c. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:
Keeaumoku St. No turns from the Ewa most lane on Keeaumoku St. into Kinau St. in the makai direction.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. in the mauka direction, distance 254 makai from the makai curb prolongation of Makaiwa St.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. in the mauka direction, distance 305 makai from the makai curb prolongation of Waialae Ave.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. in both directions, distance 175 makai from the makai curb prolongation of Waialae Ave.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. at Pueo St. in both directions.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. at Pahoa Ave. in both directions.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. at Onaha St. in the makai direction.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. at Elepaio St. in the makai direction.
Kilauea Ave. No U turn from Kilauea Ave. at Hunakai St. in both directions.
d. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours by amending thereto the following item:
Hobron Ln., Koko Head side, distance 137 mauka direction from a point 145 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of the makai end of Kaioo Dr.; to read:
Hobron Ln., Koko Head side, distance 110 mauka direction from a point 145 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of the makai end of Kaioo Dr.
e. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Kahuailani St., within its turnaround area.
Walker Ave., western side, distance 145 southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Olive Ave.
Waolani Ave., Koko Head side, distance 50 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Wyllie St.
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Fernridge Pl., even-numbered side, makai direction from a point 30 mauka of the mauka property line of 99-442 Fernridge Pl. to its terminus; to read:
Fernridge Pl., even-numbered side, makai direction from a point 34 makai of the makai property line of 99-448 Fernridge Pl. to its terminus.
Holopono Pl., within its turnaround area; to read:
Holopono Pl., mauka side, for its entire length and including its turnaround area.
Hui Iwa St., (northern intersection of Hui Iwa St./Kahekili Hwy.) Kahuku (northern) side, distance 120 makai (easterly) direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kahekili Hwy.; to read:
Hui Iwa St., (northern intersection of Hui Iwa St./Kahekili Hwy.) Kahuku (northern) side, distance 160 makai (easterly) direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kahekili Hwy.
Kaahele St., Kaena side, distance approximately 270 mauka direction from a point 45 makai of the makai property line of 98-456 Kaahele St. (Newtown Recreation Center driveway); to read:
Kaahele St., Kaena side, distance approximately 220 mauka direction from a point 45 makai of the makai property line of 98-456 Kaahele St. (Newtown Recreation Center driveway).
3. By deleting therefrom the following item:
Hobron Ln., Koko Head side, distance 145 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of the makai end of Kaioo Dr.
f. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited loading/ unloading by amending thereto the following item:
Hobron Ln., Koko Head side, distance 137 mauka direction from a point 145 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of the makai end of Kaioo Dr.; to read:
Hobron Ln., Koko Head side, distance 110 mauka direction from a point 145 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of the makai end of Kaioo Dr.
g. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by deleting therefrom the following items:
Aliamanu St., makai side, distance 150 Ewa direction from a point 510 Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Aila St.
Alimanu St., mauka side, distance 150 Koko Head direction from a point 450 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Wanaka St.
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
