NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
HANA ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO THE
MAUI PLANNING COMMISSION
The Hana Advisory Committee to the Maui Planning Commission for the County of Maui hereby gives notice that it will conduct a public hearing on April 20, 2006, commencing at 4:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as is practicable, at the Old Hana School Cafeteria, Hana, Island of Maui on the following:
SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREA USE PERMIT
1. MR. MILTON ARAKAWA, Director, DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT requesting a Special Management Area Use Permit for the realignment of a section of Nahiku Road and corollary improvements at TMK: 1-2-003: 058 (por.), Nahiku, Island of Maui. (SM1 2005/0024)
The subject hearing will be conducted in accordance with the Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Maui County Code and the Rules of the Maui Planning Commission. Information pertaining to the subject application may be obtained from the Maui County Department of Planning, 250 South High Street, Wailuku, Maui.
Petitions to intervene shall be in conformity with Sections 12-201-20, 12-201-40, and 12-201-43 of the Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Maui Planning Commission and shall be filed with the Commission and served upon the applicant no less than ten (10) business days before the first public hearing date, no later than 4:30 p.m. on the day of April 5, 2006. Filing of all documents of the Commission is c/o the Maui County Department of Planning, 250 S. High Street, Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii 96793.
All testimony regarding the subject application may be filed prior to the date of the hearing by providing 15 copies of said written testimony to the Department of Planning or may be presented at the time of the hearing.
