NOTICE
VIDEO AND AUDIO MONITORING FOR THE
COMFORT STATION AT KAIAKA BAY BEACH PARK
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the General Public pursuant to Section 2-32.3(b)(5), Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, that the City and County of Honolulu (City) will be installing video surveillance cameras to monitor Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. These cameras will be employed for the general prevention and deterrence of criminal activity and to ensure the safety and security of the public and community we serve. The video surveillance cameras will be used to achieve legitimate law enforcement objectives for legitimate public purposes. The video surveillance cameras will begin operating 10 calendar days after publication of this legal notice. These fixed-dome cameras will be recording and have audio monitoring capabilities.
The General Public may submit written comments on the video and audio monitoring to the City Council and the Department of Facility Maintenance at the following addresses:

CAMERA LOCATIONS AT KAIAKA BAY BEACH PARK
Three (3) surveillance cameras will be installed at the comfort station at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park. Two (2) cameras will be located at the front of the comfort station, above the entrance to the maintenance room and one (1) camera will be located at the rear of the comfort station. All cameras will operate continuously. The cameras will face outwards with the front cameras providing coverage of restroom entrances and the rear camera monitoring the general area behind the comfort station.
