Program Director, NHERC Program Director, position number 89475, UH Hilo, North Hawai’i Education and Research Center, position located in Honoka’a, general funds, full-time, permanent, to begin approximately July 2017, pending position clearance and availability of funds. Reporting to the Dean of the College of Continuing Education and Community Service, the Director is responsible for leading the operations and outreach services provided by the North Hawai’i Education and Research Center (NHERC). Located in Honoka’a, NHERC provides access to quality educational opportunities to the people of Hamakua and North Hawaii. NHERC offers UH Hilo credit courses, non-credit courses for life-long learners, computer labs, test proctoring, and facilities for UH and community use. NHERC is also home to the NHERC Heritage Center, which is an archive and resource center forthe history of Hamakua and North Hawaii.
