State Health Planning and Development Agency

The Agency has received a completed application (#16-13A) under Part V and Part VII of Chapter 323D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, from West Maui Hospital Foundation, Inc. for the acquisition of the West Maui Hospital and Medical Center (Acute Care Hospital and Ancillary Services) to be located at Kaka’alaneo Drive, Lahaina, HI – TMK #2-4-4-002-052, at a capital cost of $12,000,000. Parties to the agreement: West Maui Hospital Foundation, Inc., Newport Hospital Corporation. Pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, any interested person may request a public meeting on an application before the Agency renders its decision. Any request for a public meeting must be submitted in writing at the address provided below. Any such request must be received by the Agency within seven (7) days of the publication date of this notice. The date by which written comments regarding the application must be submitted to the Agency is December 8, 2016.
