STATE OF HAWAII POSITION Experience: For Property Manager I, zero (0) years of experience needed. For Property Manager II, one-half (½) year of experience needed. For Property Manager III, one and one-half years (1½) years of experience needed; such experience includes the employment of real estate management principles, including real property valuation, establishment of rental rates, selection of tenants, protection and maintenance of real property, manager-tenant relations, and preparation for and solicitation of bids for the use of real property Skills: Negotiate the leasing of property; apply different methods or techniques of property management; able to follow verbal and written instructions; able to communicate clearly in writing and to speak effectively. Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a BA or higher, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
