NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Pursuant to chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the Department of Health (DOH) will hold a public hearing for the proposed amendment of chapter 11-160, Hawaii Administrative Rules (HAR), Medical Use of Marijuana. This proposed amendment would amend section 11-160-56, HAR, Confidential information; exceptions, to allow for disclosure of certain registration information from the DOH medical marijuana registry program to authorized persons associated with the medical marijuana dispensary system and with Federal law enforcement officials for official law enforcement purposes.

PUBLIC TESTIMONY
All interested persons shall be afforded the opportunity to submit testimony, orally or in writing, on the proposed administrative rules at the time of the public hearing. Persons who are not able to attend the public hearing may submit written testimony to DOH: by mail at 4348 Waialae Avenue, #648, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96816; or by email at medicalmarijuana@doh.hawaii.gov. All testimony must be received no later than September 30, 2016, 4:30 p.m.
Any person requiring a special accommodation (e.g., assistance of a sign language interpreter) at the public hearing shall file a request with DOH by email at medicalmarijuana@doh.hawaii.gov or by calling (808) 733-2164, Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1 pm and 4 pm at least ten business days before the public hearing.

On the internet, free of charge, at DOH’s web site (http://health.hawaii.gov/opppd/proposed-changes-to-department-of- health-administrative-rules-title-11) or on the Lieutenant Governor’s Website (http://ltgov.hawaii.gov/the-office/administrative-rules/proposed- changes);
Via email, free of charge, by making a request to DOH at medicalmarijuana@doh.hawaii.gov;
In person, free of charge, at the DOH Harm Reduction Services Branch office at 728 Sunset Avenue, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96816, between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays an appointment is required and must be scheduled in advance by email at medicalmarijuana@doh.hawaii.gov. A hard copy may also be picked up if requested in advance and upon payment of required copying fees;
Via mailed hard copy if a request is made to DOH at medicalmarijuana@doh.hawaii.gov and upon payment of required copying and postage fees.
