NOTICE TO BIDDERS

SEALED BIDS will be received up to and publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m., April 21, 2016 in the office of the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA), 547 Queen Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, for:

KEWALO BASIN JETTY REPAIRS
HAWAII COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
KEWALO BASIN HARBOR, HONOLULU, HAWAII 96814

This is a project of the HCDA and consists of the construction of repairs to the Kewalo Basin Jetty located in Kewalo Basin Harbor in the Kakaako Community Development District.

Plans and specifications on CD-ROM may be obtained from the office of the HCDA, 547 Queen Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, upon application.

Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend a pre-bid conference on April 5, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the office of the HCDA, 547 Queen Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. The purpose of the pre-bid conference is to discuss the scope of work, critical construction procedures and basis for the contract award. Failure of the bidder to attend this pre-bid conference and to receive information discussed, which may be pertinent to their bid, shall not entitle the bidder to seek additional payment later for any work or construction requirement desired by the HCDA, which had been outlined at the pre-bid conference.

All bidders for this project shall be licensed “A” General Engineering contractors, and all subcontractors for this project shall be licensed specialty contractors, in accordance with the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any contractor or subcontractor not so licensed shall be subject to the penalties imposed by such laws.
