A REQUEST FOR AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 21, REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (THE LAND USE ORDINANCE), RELATING TO PUBLIC HOUSING IN TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT SPECIAL DISTRICTS

The City Council initiated a proposal to amend the Land Use Ordinance (LUO) relating to public housing projects and Interim Planned Development-Transit (IPD-T) Permits. The proposed LUO amendment is a City Council-initiated bill that will allow public housing projects to seek an IPD-T Permit as far as one mile from a planned Honolulu Rail Transit Project station and waive permit processing fees.

Public testimony is to be taken at the hearing by registering at the public hearing. Written testimony (15 copies) may be filed with the Planning Commission at least two (2) business days before the date and time of the hearing. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony.
