1. EWA – ZONE CHANGE REQUEST-2015/Z-1 (TS)
HOAKALEI MASTER PLAN UPDATE

Applicant: HASEKO (Ewa), Inc.
Landowners: HASEKO (Ewa), Inc.; Hoakalei Corporation
Location: Hoakalei at Ewa Beach, Oahu
Tax Map Keys: 9-1-134: 27 and portions of 22, 28, and 29
Existing Use: Undeveloped/vacant land around an excavated water basin
Existing Zoning: BMX-3 Community Business Mixed Use District (height limit of 60 feet), I-3 Waterfront Industrial District (height limit of 60 feet), Resort District (height limit of 90 feet), and P-2 General Preservation District
Land Area Being Rezoned: Approximately 62 acres
Request: A change in zoning involving multiple zoning districts and height limits, to accommodate an update of the Hoakalei Master Plan for the last undeveloped phase of the 1,100-acre Ocean Pointe- Hoakalei development.

The proposed zone change request is available for viewing at the Department of Planning and Permitting or online at www.honoluludpp.org/ Planning/ZoneChanges.aspx. Public testimony is to be taken at the hearing. Fifteen (15) copies of written testimony should be filed with the Planning Commission at least forty-eight (48) hours before the date of the public hearing. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony. One copy may be faxed (768-6743) or mailed (Planning Commission, 650 South King Street, 7th Floor, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813). All interested persons are invited to attend. Those persons desiring to testify may register prior to the public hearing at the public hearing site.
