The Water Board, County of Hawai`i announces the following vacancy:

MANAGER – CHIEF ENGINEER

(Exempt) $103,713 – $135,326 Range of Annual Salary
(Based on Experience)

The Manager – Chief Engineer of the County of Hawai`i is the administrative head of the Department of Water Supply. The Manager – Chief Engineer has the responsibility of managing the overall operations and activities of the Department of Water Supply.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Shall be a citizen of the United States and resident of the State of Hawai’i for at least one year immediately preceding appointment. [Hawai’i Revised Statutes 78-1(b)]

• Shall be a registered engineer and shall have had a minimum of five (5) years of experience in an administrative capacity. [Hawai’i County Charter, Article VIII, Section 8-3]
