The Hawaii Department of Education seeks a visionary leader for the position of Assistant Superintendent (AS) of the Office of Information Technology Services (OITS) to work closely with the Superintendent and Senior Assistant Superintendent as a strategic partner in the management and use of information, telecommunication, instructional technologies, and related resources. The AS of OITS serves as a member of the Superintendent’s cabinet and is a problem-solving collaborative team player on all DOE leadership issues.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and ten years of increasingly responsible management level experience, which preferably includes substantial experience in information technology services, strategic planning, and change management.
