1. REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 21, REVISED ORDINANCES OF
HONOLULU 1990 (THE LAND USE ORDINANCE), RELATING TO WIND
MACHINES
The bill will amend Section 21-5.700 to allow accessory wind machines by right
with a rated capacity of no more than 500 kilowatts in agricultural and country
districts. Wind machines with a rated capacity of more than 500 kilowatts will
require a conditional use permit (minor).
