NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
REGARDING ISSUANCE OF
MULTIFAMILY HOUSING REVENUE BONDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (the “Corporation”) will conduct public hearings as required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, at which it will hear and consider comments concerning the proposed issuance by the Corporation of multifamily housing revenue bonds, on the following dates:

Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter can be heard at the
Boardroom of the Hawaii Housing Finance and
Development Corporation located at 677 Queen
Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813, at which
it will hear and consider comments concerning the
issuance of multifamily revenue bonds in an aggregate
principal amount not to exceed $30,000,000 to
finance the construction of a 132-unit multi-family
rental housing project located at 86-78/86-86
Farrington Highway, Waianae, Hawaii, 96792,
TMK: portion of (1) 8-06-01:35 generally known
as the Hale Wai Vista Phase II project. The Project
will be owned by Hale Wai Vista II, L. P., a Hawaii
limited partnership, or another single asset entity to
be formed by the Hawaii Housing Development
Corporation, a Hawaii nonprofit corporation, the
general partner of such limited partnership.

Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, at
Maui Economic Opportunity’s Classroom #2,
located at 99 Mahalani Street, Wailuku, Maui, 96793,
at which it will hear and consider comments
concerning the issuance of multifamily revenue
bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to
exceed $9,000,000 to finance the acquisition and
rehabilitation of the 72 unit multi-family rental
housing project located at 170 Ho’ohana Street,
Kahului, Hawaii, 96732 TMK: (2) 3-7-012:80,
generally known as the Kahului Town Terrace
project. The Project will be acquired by Hui
Kauhale Inc., a Hawaii nonprofit corporation, or a
single asset entity to be formed by Hui Kauhale, Inc.

Those wishing to comment on the proposed financing and the nature and location of the Project may either appear in person at the public hearing or submit written comments, which must be received by the Corporation prior to the hearing. Written comments should be sent to the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, Attn: Finance Branch, 677 Queen Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813.
