Announces 12 Upcoming Classes

PUBLIC FINANCING FOR CANDIDATES
(All classes are open to public. There is no fee.)
The Campaign Spending Commission announces the first round of classes for the 2008 elections for Candidate and Candidate Committee, Noncandidate Committee, and Public Financing for Candidates.
The Candidate and Candidate Committee class provides a general overview of campaign
finance law review including registration, reporting, contributions, and expenditures.
The Noncandidate Committee class will provide information on who is a noncandidate
committee, as well as a general overview of registration, reporting, contributions, and
expenditures.
The Public Financing of Campaigns class will provide information on who qualifies, how
you qualify, expenditure limits, reporting requirements, and what you may use public funds for.
All three classes will include any relevant legislative updates from Act 200 which was signed into law on
June 20, 2007.
Certified Public Accountants may earn up to four (4) Professional Continuing Education credits.
