School Health Education Project Coordinator
Salary commensurate with experience
The position will serve as a liaison to the Department of Education regarding public health strategies in physical activity, nutrition, tobacco and Coordinated School Health. The School Health Education Project Coordinator will provide leadership and guidance in working with Department staff and external stakeholders in implementing programs consistent with Education requirements and facilitate collaboration between agencies. Additional responsibilities include program development and management of school-related Food Stamp Nutrition Education programs. Candidate must have proven track record in program planning, communication skills, project management, and developing and managing state contracts. Masters degree in public health or related field preferred, and an understanding/experience working with schools is desired.
Public Health Informatics Analyst
Salary commensurate with experience
The position is responsible for developing and implementing policies governing research, surveillance, data collection and usage to support a data warehouse project in the Department of Health. The position addresses staff competency and data governance to advance data utilization and sharing. Candidate must have proven track record in program planning, communication skills, and project management. Must have education and experience in public health or healthcare field, information systems and data governance, and maintaining Oracle or other large scale RDBMS. Masters degree in public health or related field preferred.
