Traffic Schedule No. 2007-6
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2007-6 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XIX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(6) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM/PM PEAKS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
Castle St., for its entire length.
Nalu St., for its entire length.
Waieli St., for its entire length.
Waiholo St., for its entire length.
Waiiki St., for its entire length.
b. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:
Kuhio Ave. No U turn from Kuhio Ave. at Kuamoo St. from Ewa to Koko Head bound direction.
Kuhio Ave. No left turn from Kuhio Ave. into Kalakaua Ave. in the makai direction.
c. By amending Schedule XIX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(6) establishing tow zones–AM/PM Peak by deleting therefrom the following item:
Makiki St., Ewa side, from Makiki Hgts. Dr., distance 300 mauka direction.
d. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hrs. by amending thereto the following item:
Makiki St., Ewa side, distance 220 makai direction from Ewa curb prolongation of Round Top Dr.; to read:
Makiki St., Ewa side, between Round Top Dr. and Makiki Hgts. Dr.
e. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Ahuwale Pl., Koko Head side, from Ahuwale St. to and including its turnaround area.
Hoomahilu St., Koko Head side, distance 54 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Hookanike St.
Kapalama Ave., Koko Head side, distance 86 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Hala Dr.
Kiele Ave., makai side, for its entire length.
Lola Wy., within its turnaround area.
Orrick St., both sides, between Renton Rd. and Malako St.
Palapala St., mauka side, dist. 53 Ewa (westerly) direction from the Ewa (western) curb prolongation of Kapalama Ave.
University Ave., Ewa side, distance 125 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kapiolani Blvd.
University Ave., Koko Head side, distance 165 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kapiolani Blvd.
Waihee Rd., within its turnaround area.
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Avocado St., both sides, entire length, AM-PM peaks; to read:
Avocado St., both sides, for its entire length.
f. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:
Iwilei Rd., Koko Head side, distance 150 makai direction from a point 42 makai of the makai curb prolongation of King St.; to read:
Iwilei Rd., Koko Head side, distance 133 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of N. King St.
g. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following items:
Kamalani Pl., for its entire length, the speed limit shall be 20 miles per hour.
Kuhio Ave., Ewa bound traffic must turn right at Kuamoo St.
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
