NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
AM Partners, Inc. will receive sealed bids up to 4:00 p.m. on July 18, 2007 from general contractors for demolition, removal and miscellaneous repairs for an 11,760 s.f. warehouse at Lanakila Rehabilitation Center building in Halawa Valley. Address: 99-1132 Iwaena Street, Aiea, Hawaii. Bidders shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of contractors.
One compact disc (CD) of Bidding Documents may be obtained at AM Partners, Inc. starting June 27, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Bidder shall send a written intent to bid to AM Partners, Inc. at 1100 Alakea Street, Suite 800, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96813 by July 6, 2007. A pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held on Friday, July 6, 2007 on site at 10:15 a.m.; attendance at this meeting is mandatory.
The Owner (Lanakila Rehabilitation Center) reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days subsequent to the bids without the consent of the Owner.
Bidders attention is directed to HRS 103-53, amended by Act 314, SLH 1996, related to the requirement for tax clearance from the State Department of Taxation and the Internal Revenue Service, as a prerequisite to entering into contract, and upon final settlement of a contract. Bidders and their subs must possess DCCA Certificates of Good Standing and cannot be on the Federal Excluded Parties Listing Service (EPLS). The project will be subject to federal labor standards. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon wage and certified payroll requirements.
This project will be funded under the Community Development Block Grant program, administered by the Department of Community Services, City & County of Honolulu. (SB05530351 6/27/07)
