NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
Rehabilitation of Streets, Unit 43

The public is advised that roadwork on the above marked streets is scheduled to begin on June 25, 2007 with a contract duration of 240 calendar days. The project includes asphalt reconstruction and resurfacing of the roadways, construction of concrete bus pads, curb and gutter reconstruction, adjustment of utilities to grade, replacement of vehicle detector loops and pavement markings. Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. The resurfacing of Keeaumoku Street, South Street, and a portion of University Avenue, from Coyne Street to Kuilei Street, will be performed at night from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM Sunday night to Friday morning. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, observe all traffic control devices, anticipate delays or use alternate routes. Special Duty officers will be used at critical locations to assist motorist and
pedestrians.
